Extra £2m Secured For Royal Stoke And County Hospitals
Local hospitals have been awarded an extra £2 million after reducing waiting times for non urgent procedures, with the figures ranking eighth best among acute trusts nationwide.
David welcomed the progress but said there is still more to do, particularly for patients who have already waited far too long and to tackle the issue of ambulances being stuck outside A&E.
He also thanked the incredibly hardworking NHS staff across the hospitals, from porters and ward assistants to nurses, doctors, cleaners and consultants, for the vital work they do looking after local families.
