Save High Lane Co-op

We, the undersigned, call on the Co-op Group to reconsider the closure of the Co-op Store on High Lane, Burslem.

This store has been a vital part of our local community for decades serving the residents nearby. Its closure would be a huge loss to local people, particularly those who rely on it for affordable essentials and who have limited access to other nearby shops.

We are also concerned about the impact this closure would have on the hardworking staff who have served our community for many years. We urge the Co-op Group to explore all possible alternatives before finalising this decision – including the option of keeping the store open or delaying closure while solutions are discussed with local residents.
