From Monday the 5th of October, older residents who have a bus pass in Stoke-on-Trent can now travel before 9.30 am!
It is one of only a few areas to offer this across the whole country.
This is something you’ve told me is important to you — whether you need to get to an appointment, take the grandchildren to school or to go shopping.
This covers First, D&G, Scraggs and Stantons and it has been made possible thanks to the extra bus funding from our Labour Government that I’ve secured alongside Cllr Jane Ashworth, Cllr Finlay Gordon-McCusker and fellow MPs.
I really hope that Reform-led Staffordshire County Council do follow suit as residents of Kidsgrove deserve the same — but that decision is up to them.
