The Royal Doulton Kilngate Memorial project is a community-led initiative in Burslem, dedicated to recreating and replacing a stolen war memorial that originally stood on the wall of the former Royal Doulton pottery factory on Nile Street. A key part of this project is the research and development of an online memorial website. Through careful research, the organisation aims to honour the sacrifices of these servicemen and recognise their contributions to our freedom.

The project has been delivered by St.Modwen/Miller Home with the support of and local specialist craftspeople. Stoke-on-Trent sculptor Andy Edwards has contributed to the bronze design. His work includes the iconic Lemmy statue which has brought thousands of Motörhead fans from around the globe to Burslem.

The Kilngate Memorial to the Royal Doulton Fallen is set to be unveiled in November 2026.
