David thoroughly enjoyed his visit to Greenways Primary Academy in Stockton Brook last week. He joined the children for lunch to celebrate the city’s centenary and was pleased to hear that 70 children are already benefiting from the free breakfast club he lobbied the Government for.
Steelite Stoke kindly donated plates for the occasion, which the children decorated to create some truly stunning pieces, later judged by members of the Baddeley Green & Stockton Brook Committee.
The celebrations concluded with a drone capturing a wonderful image of the pupils forming a perfect ‘100’ outside. David thanked Miss Garside, the staff, and the children for offering him such a warm welcome.
